CPM values the opportunity to be involved at the earliest stages of a project to assist with selecting the most effective and economic process for production. This is often from first concept even before CAD models or drawings are available.

Product Design

By popular demand we often undertake product design. This can be from an initial first draft design of a single product that you may wish to finish in house, to a complete assembly modelled in 3D with fully dimensioned and toleranced drawings if required.

Mould design

We operate Catia & Solidworks CAD systems in house and are networked to 3 long established design houses covering most other CAD systems.

Multi Cavity;

We have designed numerous multi cavity moulds, typically 16, 24, 32, 48 & 96 cavity moulds. Primarily for the Shaving & telecomms sector but also for the Medical, Cap & closure sectors.

2 Shot;

From Single cavity to 24+24 rotating platen and 32 Cavity core back systems.

Overmoulding & Insert Moulding;

Manual and robot loaded inserts Probably UK's most advanced in continuous strip over-moulding with strip motion built into the mould!

Unscrewing moulds

Hydraulic, rack & pinion & helical screw types.

Hot Runners;

Mold Master, Gunther, Husky etc Multi Cavity hot tip, Valve gates, CPM was the first in the UK to install a Mold Master Melt disk.

Compression & Transfer moulds.

We are familiar with many Thermoset materials primarily with-in the Aerospace sector.
